Overview of SBA Set-asides – Virtual

Did you know that the federal government has to put a percentage of all contracts aside for different socio-economic statuses? There are 5 options for socio-economic certifications. This course will give an overview of each certification, the requirements and the process for each category. Socio-economic certifications include Women-owned small business, Veteran-owned small business, Service-disabled Veteran Owned small business, 8(a) certification, and Hub-zone.
